FAQ
What types of manuscripts do you accept?
I accept a Christian book, devotional, memoir or Bible study, including prayer collections and ministry resources. Choose proofreading, copy editing or line editing based on how much refinement your manuscript needs.
What is the difference between your editing services?
Proofreading corrects surface errors; copy editing improves clarity and consistency; line editing refines sentence flow. Your Christian book, devotional, memoir or Bible study can receive the level of attention it needs.
Will you preserve my voice and Christian message?
Yes. Whether your Christian book is a devotional, memoir or Bible study, I preserve your intended meaning. Proofreading, copy editing and line editing improve the writing, with comments whenever your clarification is needed.
Will you check Scripture references and theology?
For your Christian book, devotional, memoir or Bible study, proofreading checks reference style. Copy editing and line editing can flag unclear wording; comprehensive verse verification and theological review are not included.
What files will I receive?
Your Christian book, devotional, memoir or Bible study comes back as a tracked Word document and a clean copy. Proofreading and copy editing packages include both; Premium adds line editing and an editorial summary.
What should I send before ordering?
Send your Christian book, devotional, memoir or Bible study sample, word count and deadline. Tell me whether you need proofreading, copy editing or line editing, along with your audience and preferred Bible translation.
Can you edit a complete book?
Yes. Send the full word count of your Christian book, devotional, memoir or Bible study for a custom quote. Pricing and delivery depend on whether you need proofreading, copy editing or line editing and the manuscript's condition.
Is publishing layout included?
No. This gig covers proofreading, copy editing and line editing for your Christian book, devotional, memoir or Bible study. Paperback layout, EPUB conversion, cover design and uploading require a separately agreed service.
What do revisions cover?
Revisions address agreed proofreading, copy editing or line editing on your original Christian book, devotional, memoir or Bible study. New chapters, substantial rewrites and changes outside the original brief require a separate quote.
Can you meet an urgent deadline?
Please send your Christian book, devotional, memoir or Bible study sample before ordering urgent work. I will confirm whether the word count and required proofreading, copy editing or line editing fit your deadline.
