Get comprehensive, high-end developmental editing for your short or novel-length fiction to move you faster toward traditional or self-publishing. As an expert editor with a BA (Honors) in Creative Writing & English, I offer three tailored passes to ensure your manuscript shines:
- BASIC: The Macro Beta Pass. Macro story experience, reader reactions averaging 1-2 comments per chapter, and a 3-page structural report evaluating your pacing, plot, and character arcs.
- STANDARD: One-Pass Developmental Diagnostic. Deep-dive critique. Thousands of words of inline comments tracking worldbuilding logic, dialogue, POV shifts, pacing, and plot holes. A report of 5+ pages.
- PREMIUM: Premium Dev. Edit & Style Polishing. The full package. Everything in Standard plus meticulous inline style editing, prose polishing, syntax tuning, market positioning, and sharp line rewrites.
I edit all age ranges, providing a professional manuscript critique for fantasy, science fiction, romance, crime, thriller, mystery, adventure, horror, historical, literary, upmarket, or YA manuscripts.
I want your fiction to shine. Let's get started!

FAQ
My piece is between your word count packages, or exceeds 80k words. Can you handle custom counts? Do you offer Milestones?
If your piece is below or above 80k, message me your exact word count. I will reply fast with a tailored Custom Offer to fit your project. I do not offer "Milestone" projects; full payment is required upfront to secure your slot in my queue.
What type of file format do you require for my manuscript?
I require a Word document (.doc/.docx) to utilize Track Changes for inline notes and style formatting. I do not work with Google Docs or any other live cloud-sharing platform.
Do you need a "trigger warning" if my manuscript features heavy violence, profanity, or dark themes?
Not at all. I edit across all fiction genres—including dark thriller, crime, and horror—so no warnings are necessary. If you would like to give me a general heads-up regarding your target audience or content themes before I open the file, you are always welcome to do so.
Can I send you my novel chapter-by-chapter as I write it?
No. I offer a holistic, comprehensive analysis and require the full manuscript up front when the order begins. If you want a partial review, we can arrange a Custom Offer for a specific set of completed chapters.
If I make structural changes to my novel while you are reviewing it, can I send you an updated file?
No. To maintain momentum and accuracy, I only work with the file submitted at the start of the order. If you choose to make major revisions based on new ideas, you can resubmit your updated draft to me as a brand-new order once this diagnostic pass is complete.
If I purchase a second developmental round for a revised draft of the same novel, will you review it?
Absolutely! Fiction writing is an iterative process. Whether it is a month later or a year later, I am happy to act as your trusted pair of eyes for a secondary structural pass, evaluating how your revisions have elevated the narrative arc, prose style, and character pacing.
What exact deliverables will I receive upon project completion?
You will receive your manuscript with clear inline feedback and a structural report. Basic includes 1-2 comments/chapter and a 3-page report. Standard delivers deep structural notes and a 5+ page report. Premium includes all structural notes plus detailed line-level prose and style polishing.
Do you speed-read? Do you use AI to evaluate or write your feedback?
I never speed-read; I evaluate every word personally. I use AI (Gemini/Grammarly) to polish my notes, catch internal inconsistencies, and audit for plot holes. This "human-led, AI-augmented" workflow ensures elite, highly accurate feedback. I personally vet and finalize every single word sent.
What is your editorial process? How much time will you spend on my manuscript?
I work in focused daily blocks, processing 1,500 to 3,000 words per hour, depending on your text's complexity. I dedicate 4-5 hours solely to auditing comments and crafting your structural report. I focus on one project at a time and send brief progress updates to clients every 5 to 10 days.
What if I have follow-up questions after reviewing your editorial report?
Once your order is complete, you can book a separate follow-up via Custom Offer. I provide written Q&A consultation or a 60- to 90-minute live Story Strategy video session via Fiverr Zoom to map out your revision roadmap. This ensures you are completely squared away for your next draft.
