I will do quantity takeoff and construction estimating in bluebeam
Construction Project Manager, Estimating, Takeoffs, Bluebeam
About this Gig
I'm a working Construction Project Manager with 15 years of experience overall: residential, commercial, and heavy civil, including heavy highway and bridge work, and a degree in Construction Management. Quantity takeoff, material takeoff, and construction estimating are part of my day job, not a side skill.
Send your plan set; I'll send back numbers you can bid from. I measure in Bluebeam Revu and organize the takeoff the way an estimator uses it: by trade, in Excel, with marked-up plans included so you can check every number.
Trades I take off: site work and earthwork, concrete, masonry, metals and framing, roofing, doors and finishes, electrical and site lighting. DOT plan sets are familiar ground.
How it works:
1. You send the plans, your trade specs, and your bid date.
2. I confirm the scope fits before I start. Bigger set? I'll tell you up front and quote it straight.
3. You get the takeoff, marked-up PDF, and on Standard and Premium a priced estimate and bid summary.
Ground rules: I'm not a licensed engineer and I don't stamp anything. Quantities come from your plans and specs: verify in the field before ordering material. Your plans stay between us.

FAQ
Do you price the job, or just count quantities?
Basic is quantities only. Standard and Premium include a priced estimate. If you send your own unit costs, I price with yours. If you don't, I use budget pricing and mark it as such, so you know which numbers are yours and which are placeholders.
What trades do you take off?
Site work and earthwork, concrete, masonry, metals and framing, roofing, doors and finishes, and electrical including site lighting and signals work. If your scope is something outside that list, ask me before ordering and I'll tell you straight whether it's in my lane.
My plan set is bigger than 40 sheets. Can you still do it?
Yes — message me first with the set and your bid date and I'll quote it. Don't buy a package and hope it stretches; the packages are sized for the sheet counts listed.
Are you an engineer? Will you stamp or certify the estimate?
No. I'm a Construction Project Manager and estimator. The takeoff is a bidding and planning document based on your plans and specs. It isn't engineering, and it doesn't replace your own review before you submit a bid.
What if the plans change after you start (addenda)?
One addendum that swaps a few sheets is covered by your revision. A full re-issue of the set is new scope — I'll price the change honestly instead of quietly billing you twice for the same sheets.
How do I know you counted everything?
That's what the marked-up PDF is for. Every counted item is marked on the plans, so you or your team can spot-check any number back to the sheet it came from.
