Please contact me before submitting an order. Submit your Word doc(x) manuscript or a sample of it as an attachment to a message--not as an order. I will provide a free sample edit. That will do three things for us: 1) it will provide you a sample of my work before you commit any money; 2) it will allow me to see a sample of your work--only then can I provide you an honest and fair quote; and 3) it will confirm that we can communicate effectively and that we are on the same page as far as expectations. Note: by submitting your document to me, you are affirming that you are the author and own the rights to the document.
Then, if we agree to work together, I will create an order. Time for completion will depend on how many projects I have ongoing. Prices quoted are typical, but will vary depending on the quality of the manuscript. I do not edit academic papers or AI-generated content.

What experience do you have in editing or proofreading writing?
I have had many years of teaching English at the secondary level. I have also taught at the University level for about 15 years where I "graded" papers. I have an undergraduate degree in teaching English. I have also worked with several authors, editing/formatting both fiction and non-fiction.
Other than teaching and grading papers, what experience do you have in working with authors or books?
I have 3 books published in print and Kindle on Amazon (under the author name of C. K. Phillips). In addition to proofing/editing my own books and others' books, I have been beta readers for several other authors.
You are new to Fiverr. Do you have any experience outside of Fiverr?
Yes, I do. I have worked with several authors outside of Fiverr—editing and formatting.
