About this Gig
Book Editor & Proofreader
If you're looking for someone to edit and proofread books, you're at the right gig.
I'm a professional book editor and proofreader with 6+ years of experience. The service I offer is not just about correcting grammar or spellchecking.
I will proofread and edit your books, manuscript, blog posts & web content manually. I will also check the grammar and orthography mistakes of your text & provide suggestions about how your text's style, content & readability can be improved.
What Do I Offer?
1. Basic grammar and punctuation check
2. Sentence structuring
3. Dialogue correction and transitions
4. General improvement and readability
5. Clarity & Flow of sentences
Unlike other editors, I actually read your work instead of running it through software. This is done to ensure that I address all errors/issues in your work so you will be satisfied with the final product.
Available 24/7

FAQ
What will my delivery include?
I will send two documents: one with all changes tracked in Microsoft Word and the second will be a clean, edited version of your file.
Do you do the work manually?
Yes. I do all of the work myself & manually. I read every single word, looking for dropped or incorrect words, missing or extraneous punctuation, correct word choice, style issues, correct sentence structure, etc.
Do you edit larger documents?
Yes, I can edit documents of any size. Please message me with your word count for a custom offer if you have large documents for editing.
What is your revision policy?
If I miss a grammar, capitalization, or punctuation error, these will be corrected at no charge. However, if you want to have sentences you have added to the text changed, or proofread, then you will be billed for a gig extra.
What format should I submit my document in?
I only edit Microsoft Word documents.
