Welcome! I'm a professional proofreader and copy editor who loves tracking down mistakes and making your writing say exactly what you want it to say. I'm a former academic with a PhD in Classics, and I've been proofreading and copy editing for more than a decade. My background as a teacher has helped me communicate with clients in a nonjudgmental, constructive way.
In addition to my education and work history, I have experience in both technical and creative writing, so I'm up for any challenge. I'm looking forward to working with you on your next project!

FAQ
What is the difference between proofreading and copy editing?
Proofreading catches the little things: typos and errors in spelling, grammar, and punctuation. Copy editing is a more comprehensive service. When I’m copy editing your document, I’ll comment on your sentence structure, word choice, readability, clarity, and tone.
What is your average delivery time?
My average delivery time is 1–3 days, but I will do a rush delivery for an additional fee. Please contact me before ordering the rush delivery for longer projects (over 20,000 words) so I can make sure the project is possible within the time constraints!
What will the final product look like?
I’ll deliver a Microsoft Word document, using the “track changes” feature to document any changes made, as well as comments in the margin for further suggestions or queries. If you prefer, I can also work in Google Docs.
Can you rewrite my content?
I will do some light rewriting with the standard and premium packages. My rewriting will help you improve the clarity and flow of your writing. However, I won’t rewrite in order to help you avoid plagiarism accusations or AI checkers.
