Thanks for asking! Memoir, book club and women's fiction, and romance. I'm not a good fit for fantasy or science fiction.
Is this a line edit?
No. In-document edits are not included in this editorial assessment. Line edits are for writers whose manuscripts are almost ready for publication. An editorial assessment is meant for a first or second draft.
Is this a developmental edit?
No. Developmental edits are quite pricey. However, an editorial assessment will give suggestions for big picture changes similar to a developmental edits but my feedback does not include in-document edits.
Are you a native English speaker?
Yes. I've lived in California my whole life. I have degrees from Stanford University, UC Berkeley and Loyola Law School.
