Developmental editing (big-picture structure, plot, pacing), line editing (clarity, flow, sentence-level polish), and proofreading (final error-catching pass). Most projects benefit from developmental + line editing together, which is what the Standard and Premium packages cover.
Will you change my writing voice?
No. My goal is to strengthen your manuscript while preserving your voice and intent — not rewrite it into something that sounds like me.
Do you work with AI-assisted or AI-generated content?
Yes. I can refine and humanize AI-assisted content — smoothing awkward phrasing and improving flow so it reads naturally.
What genres do you edit?
Fiction, non-fiction, memoir, self-help, business, romance, YA, and more. If your genre is highly technical or niche (academic, legal, medical), message me first to confirm fit.
What file formats do you accept and deliver?
I accept Word (.doc/.docx). I deliver your edited manuscript in Word with tracked changes, plus a separate editorial letter as a PDF.
How long will my edit take?
Delivery time depends on word count and manuscript complexity. I'll always confirm a clear timeline before starting if your project falls outside the standard packages.
Can I request a sample before ordering?
Yes, send up to 500 words and I'll provide a free sample edit so you can see my style and approach before committing.
Do you also handle formatting for KDP or print?
Editing and formatting are two different specialties, so this gig covers editing only. If you need both, check my other gig for book formatting — I offer a bundled rate if you order both together.
What happens after I submit my revision requests?
I'll review your notes and make another editing pass within the revisions included in your package. Additional rounds beyond that can be added as a gig extra.
Do you keep my manuscript confidential?
Yes. Your manuscript and any personal or creative content shared with me stays strictly confidential and is never shared, reused, or referenced elsewhere.
