If you are unsure, send me a message with your manuscript or a short sample. I will review it and recommend the level of editing that best suits your book, whether developmental editing, line editing, copy editing, or proofreading.
Will you change my writing style, Christian message, or personal voice?
No. My role is to strengthen your manuscript, not rewrite it into my voice. I carefully preserve your tone, message, convictions, and writing style while improving clarity, structure, grammar, flow, and readability.
Will I be able to see the changes you make to my manuscript?
Yes. I edit Microsoft Word manuscripts using Track Changes, allowing you to review every edit, correction, and suggestion. I can also provide a clean edited copy so you have a polished version without visible markup.
Is book formatting for Amazon KDP or IngramSpark included with editing?
Formatting can be included depending on the package you select or added to your order if needed. I can prepare your manuscript for a clean, professional print layout that meets the requirements of Amazon KDP and IngramSpark.
Can I see a sample of your editing before placing an order?
Yes. You can request a complimentary sample edit of up to 1,000 words. This allows you to see my editing approach and how I handle your voice and message before deciding on the full manuscript.
