Hi, I’m George, a chess coach with 5 years of teaching experience in schools and additional experience at a chess academy. I’m a FIDE-certified Developmental Instructor who's rated 2200+ online.
I work mainly with kids, teens, and beginners, keeping lessons fun, clear, and easy to follow. I tailor each lesson to my students so they can improve quickly and enjoy the process.

George took the time to understand my goals as a chess player and carefully helped me develop some more goals based on my skill level. He was really calm, fun and well mannered. He explained some key chess tactics which broadened my overall understanding and gave me some homework to do before my next lesson. I’ll definitely be doing more lessons with him.
