Hi, I’m George, a chess coach with 5 years of teaching experience in schools and additional experience at a chess academy. I’m a FIDE-certified Developmental Instructor who achieved a 2200 rating in 5 years as an adult learner.
I work mainly with kids, teens, and beginners, keeping lessons fun, clear, and easy to follow. I tailor each lesson to my students so they can improve quickly and enjoy the process.

Very patient and clearly passionate about the game, George did great at covering the foundations of chess gameplay. Overall he's a solid coach and generally very knowledgable and engaging. I liked the way he tailored the lesson to my experiences

George is a great teacher, very dilligent. He prepared well for the lesson, he shared materials and gave me advice on how to handle the tricky middle game section. I am now ready for my big match with Magnus Carlsen next week
