I was recently given a book to proofread that had been badly translated. Some translations just weren't making any sense in French, and the original text was not available. Yes, of course. But be aware, that I may need the original text to be able to understand some parts. Some machine translators do a good job (if the text is not too difficult), but some do a really poor one, which can make the comprehension difficult. Please send your text first for evaluation.
