FAQ
Why are my page numbers, headers, or margins wrong in print?
Incorrect gutter margins and orphan pages happen when layout grid settings aren't applied. I build custom interior layouts using Adobe InDesign to make sure page numbers, headers, and margins line up cleanly across every page spread.
Which book genres do you accept for German book editing and kdp book formatting?
I edit and format all genres: fiction, non fiction, fantasy, self help, memoir, and children book layout design. As a developmental editor and children book editor, I ensure your manuscript formatting and text style perfectly fit your target audience.
Do you handle book formatting for both Amazon KDP and IngramSpark?
Yes! I provide complete kdp book formatting, ebook formatting (EPUB), and paperback formatting (PDF) tailored to exact trim sizes for Amazon KDP and IngramSpark self publishing. All layout design files pass technical print check requirements
What file formats do I need to send you to get started?
Simply provide your final written manuscript as a Microsoft Word (.docx) or Google Doc file, along with your chosen trim size (e.g., 5x8 or 6x9 inches) and any images or special instructions you want included.
What if I need to make small text corrections after you deliver?
Minor revision requests are included in your package. If you select a package with source file delivery (such as Microsoft Word or editable files), you can also easily update minor text changes yourself in the future.
Do you edit and format in standard German (Hochdeutsch)?
Yes! Whether you write fiction, non-fiction, or self-help, I ensure your text follows correct German spelling, grammar, and punctuation rules (Lektorat & Korrektorat) alongside professional German typesetting conventions (Buchsatz).
