About this Gig
Did you just finish a draft of your work and need an extra pair of eyes on it?
As your beta reader, I will provide detailed feedback on character arcs, plot arcs, emotional or spicy scenes, suggested improvements, and my overall opinions.
I will also provide a 2-3 page reader report answering questions centered around these categories:
- Was your first chapter gripping enough to hold a readers attention?
- How was the character development?
- What were some of my favorite parts?
- Was anything confusing or inconsistent?
- How was the plot structure and overall readability?
- Was the pacing of the scenes and chapters right?
- Was the dialogue natural?
- Was the ending worth reading the whole book?
I have been an avid reader my whole life, so I know what makes a reader immerse themselves in a text and can use that knowledge to help you develop your work, whether its fiction or nonfiction.
*Please note: I only work with Microsoft Word and Google Docs.*
