Do you offer extra fast delivery?
Yes, I can accommodate extra fast delivery for a small fee, depending on my availability and the document's word count. Message me for a quote.
What type of file should I send you?
Please send a Microsoft Word document only. If you have a PDF, please convert it to a Microsoft Word document before ordering. If you're using a different program, feel free reach out to me before placing an order to see if I can accommodate your document.
Do you accept custom orders?
Absolutely! I build custom orders for projects over 5,000 words, and happily accept very large projects. Message me so we can discuss your specific project needs.
Will you follow the formatting style required for my document (e.g., APA)?
Absolutely. I will edit the main body of your text according to your preferred style guide, including APA, MLA, and Chicago. Please let me know of any style requirements when placing your order. Note that I do not edit reference lists/bibliographies unless explicitly agreed upon.
Do you edit website content?
Yes, I do, but I require the content in a Microsoft Word file.
Are you a native English speaker/writer?
Yes. I was born and raised in Canada. I earned my BA and MA degrees from Western University and Memorial University of Newfoundland, respectively. I have attended The University of Leeds in England, and have extensive experience working with American, Canadian, and British English.
Do you rewrite documents?
At this time, I offer copy editing, not copywriting. However, all of my packages include minor rewriting/rewording suggestions to help ensure your writing is clear and concise.
What documents will you deliver?
For all packages I deliver two Microsoft Word documents: one will show my edits using Track Changes. Because my edits are visible in this document, you can accept or reject them as you see fit. The other Word document will be a polished version of your work with my revisions fully incorporated.
Will you maintain my voice when editing?
Yes. Good editing brings out the best in the writer. I am a diligent editor who will maintain your voice, tone, and unique writing style.
Can I see some of your previous work?
Absolutely! Message me for samples.
