Is this translation?
No. This is proofreading and polishing of text that already exists in Chinese. If you need translation from English to Chinese, that is a different service and I can quote it separately.
Can you proofread both Simplified and Traditional Chinese?
Yes. Both are fine. Tell me which one you are targeting so I do not “correct” regional usage in the wrong direction.
What counts toward the character limit — the original or the revised version?
The limit applies to the original text you send. If your text is close to the limit, send it first and I will confirm before you order.
Do you change my voice and style?
No. I preserve your intended voice. I fix what reads as non-native or unclear, not what reads as “you.” If you want a more formal or more casual tone, tell me and I will adjust within your voice.
What file formats do you accept?
Word (.docx), Google Docs, and plain text. For PDFs, send the source file if possible; otherwise I can work from a clean PDF but may not be able to preserve complex formatting.
