Will you edit erotic content?
No. If the book is purely literary erotica, than I am not the choice for you. However, I will edit novels that are catered to adults.
What does line editing entail?
Line editing ensures that you have consistent beats throughout your book as well as consistent voice and tone.
What is beat analysis?
There is a cadence to writing that is necessary to have if you are looking to have engaging tone, tense plot, and easy-to-follow reading for your book. It boils down to four basic actions which consist of a single beat. What your character feels, what they think, what they do, and what they say.
Are there certain genres that you are not willing to edit?
As long as the book is fiction, I will edit it. I have experience editing books that are science fiction (hard science and epic), fantasy (both high and low), horror, thriller, mystery, mythological fiction, and portal fantasy. I will edit historical fiction, but my focus is not historical accuracy.
Can I only include an additional 5000 words per package?
No. You can add as many words as necessary with the package. But the price goes up $5 for each additional 5000 words.
Can I expedite my editing process?
Editing takes time, and real proofreading takes work. I cannot edit your book any faster than what is posted.
Does the package include a summary?
It includes a summary in the form of a plot beat sheet which details how your book should flow according to traditional writing.
