I'll systematically go through each step of the editorial process, weaseling out typos, clarifying meaning, trimming wordiness, and giving your manuscript a final polish, before returning the Word document to you with track changes. (If you'd like, I can also provide a clean document with all changes applied.) As I proceed, I'll leave thoughtful comments explaining why I made certain changes so that you gain some insight into my rationale. One of the more surprising bits of feedback I've gotten over the years is how tactful my comments are, and I aim to always bring that air of friendly professionalism to my work.
