What does your proofreading service include?
I provide proofreading service includes correcting spelling, punctuation, typographical errors, basic grammar, and formatting consistency. The service does not include rewriting sentences, improving style, or developmental editing.
What format should I send the document in?
I edit all documents in Microsoft Word. Please submit the document in .doc or .docx format.
Do you use editing software?
I proofread manually rather than relying solely on AI or automated grammar-checking software.
How will I receive your work?
In Microsoft Word, I provide two versions of the same document: one with Tracked Changes on so you can review each individual edit, and a clean version with all changes incorporated and ready to use.
Do you offer revisions?
Yes. If I have overlooked an error or misunderstood your instructions, I'll gladly correct it. If the document has been revised after proofreading, additional proofreading may require a new order or an additional fee, depending on the extent of the changes.
Is my document confidential?
Yes. All documents are treated as confidential and won't be shared with anyone else.
