Created and edited Estonian subtitles for approximately 25 films. English to Estonian, Finnish to Estonian, Russian to Estonian and German to Estonian subtitle translation. Experience working with Icelandic-language film material and French subtitles through machine-translation-assisted workflows and detailed post-editing. Manual transcription of film dialogue where no suitable subtitle source was available. Subtitle timing, synchronization, formatting and readability editing using Subtitle Edit. Proofreading and rewriting machine-translated or AI-assisted text into natural Estonian. Experience with contemporary dialogue as well as literary, archaic and period-style language.
