I offer professional proofreading and copy editing in Italian, for novels, short stories, manuscripts, and drafts at any stage of completion.
What I correct:
- Grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors
- Typos and inconsistencies
- Awkward sentence structures and unclear phrasing
- Repetitions and redundancies
- Tense consistency and agreement errors
Optional add-on (available in Standard and Premium packages):
For each paragraph or section, I can add a personal note on how I would have written that passage not to replace your voice, but to give you a concrete alternative to compare, reflect on, and use or ignore as you see fit. This is ideal for writers who want to grow, not just correct.
What I don't do in this service: plot restructuring, character analysis, or narrative feedback that's covered in my separate Story Editing gig.
All edits are delivered directly in Google Docs or Word with tracked changes, so you can accept or reject each suggestion individually you stay in control of your text at all times.

Qual è la differenza tra questa gig e la tua gig di Story Editing?
Questa gig si concentra sulla correttezza linguistica — grammatica, ortografia, punteggiatura, chiarezza della frase. La gig di Story Editing riguarda invece la struttura narrativa, i personaggi e il ritmo. Sono due livelli diversi di editing, e spesso un testo ne ha bisogno di entrambi.
Cosa sono le "note stilistiche personali"?
È un servizio opzionale disponibile nei pacchetti Standard e Premium: per alcune sezioni del testo scrivo una breve nota su come avrei personalmente formulato quella frase o quel paragrafo, spiegando il ragionamento. Non è una riscrittura del tuo testo.
Lavori con Google Docs o Word?
Entrambi — preferisco Google Docs perché i commenti e le revisioni tracciate sono più facili da gestire in tempo reale, ma accetto anche file .docx.
Posso chiederti le note stilistiche su tutto il testo o solo su alcune parti?
Puoi scegliere tu — posso applicarle all'intero testo o solo alle sezioni che ti sembrano più deboli. Indicamelo nelle istruzioni quando ordini.
Correggi anche testi scritti da non madrelingua italiano?
Sì, anzi è uno dei casi in cui questo servizio è più utile — se stai scrivendo in italiano come seconda lingua, la correzione grammaticale e i suggerimenti stilistici ti aiutano a raggiungere una voce più naturale.
Posso richiedere una correzione parziale (solo alcuni capitoli)?
Assolutamente sì — il prezzo viene calcolato in base al numero di parole effettive, non al numero di capitoli.
