What I check:
- Spelling (according to current Duden rules)
- Grammar (cases, verb forms, agreement, tenses)
- Punctuation (commas, quotation marks, hyphens and dashes)
- Sentence structure (awkward or incorrect constructions, missing or wrong references)
- Typos, repeated words and inconsistent spellings
How I work:
I proofread using Track Changes in Word (or comments in Google Docs on request), so you can see every correction and accept or reject it individually. Your content, your message and your personal style stay intact. If a sentence is grammatically correct but could be clearer, I may leave a short comment instead of rewriting it.
