I will complete a full developmental edit of your book

Developmental editing takes a look at the "big picture" of your work. It is less concerned with grammar and typos and is more of a thorough examination of your work, looking to add or cut content, fix major inconsistencies, and address organizational matters. This stage of editing works best when you have a finished draft and after you have gone through it a couple times to edit on your own, but now you need fresh editorial eyes.

We'll initially meet online via Zoom or similar means to discuss your book project and the goals you hope to achieve in having the work edited by a professional. We'll also discuss pricing/rates for the work. My rate for developmental editing is $0.03 per word, but ultimately, I want to work within your budget, so if a flat rate works better, I'm happy to negotiate with you.

Once we've reached an agreement, you'll send me your manuscript file, and I'll get to work. I read through your manuscript and fully annotate the document, providing crucial insights on what works in your story and what needs adjusting. I'll also provide a full editor's letter at the end of the process. I'm confident I can help take your work to the next level!
