I've been writing songs and singing for over 25 years and have had two demo deals with Atlantic Records in years past. Lyrics are a crucial aspect to that process. I strive to make lyrics clear when they need to be and interesting when the meaning can be abstract. There are plenty of tropes to avoid, and sometimes the best thing you can do is bounce your idea off of someone else and digest the feedback. I can be that feedback - offering suggested changes, asking questions about clarity, spellchecking, and accounting for someone writing for an English audience.
