About this Gig
PROOFREADING | DEVELOPMENTAL EDIT | COPY EDIT
Hello
Typos, grammatical errors, and structural issues can cause readers to lose interest before they even finish the first chapter. Many strong manuscripts are overlooked because they lack professional editing, resulting in inconsistent pacing, unclear narratives, or surface errors that make the work appear unpolished. Whether you plan to submit your manuscript to traditional publishers or self-publish, professional ed! is essential to ensure your book meets industry standards.
I provide comprehensive proofreading, copy editing, and developmental editing services for both fiction and non-fiction authors. My goal is to refine your manuscript while preserving your unique voice and strengthening clarity, structure, and readability.
My editing services include:
- Grammar, spelling, and punctuation correction
- Sentence-level refinement
- Consistency in tone and formatting
- Line editing
- Manuscript critiques
Whether you need final proofreading before publishing on platforms like Amazon KDP or in-depth editing to strengthen your manuscript, I provide the precision and attention to detail your work deserves.

FAQ
What is the difference between proofreading and developmental editing?
Proofreading fixes surface errors (grammar, spelling, punctuation). Developmental editing analyzes structure, plot, character arcs, and pacing—then provides an editorial letter with improvement strategies.
Do you edit both fiction and non-fiction?
Yes. I specialize in both genres, including novels, memoirs, self-help, business books, and academic manuscripts.
What file formats do you accept and deliver?
I accept Word (.docx), Google Docs, and PDF files. You will receive tracked changes in Word format plus a clean final version
Will you preserve my writing voice and style?
Absolutely. My editing enhances clarity and correctness without altering your unique voice. I only suggest changes that strengthen your authentic expression
Can you meet urgent deadlines?
Rush delivery is available for an additional fee. Contact me with your deadline before ordering to confirm availability
