Hi, I'm Finnley, a Kyrgyz-Canadian writer and editor. I've written fanfiction and short stories for over 7 years and have proofread and edited professionally for 3. I know fandom writing from the inside: the tropes, the pacing and what readers want.
What I offer:

What fandoms do you know?
Lots! Genshin Impact, Honkai: Star Rail, HTTYD, Disney, Adventure Time, Minecraft YouTubers, Zelda, ATLA, Arcane, BTS, anime (Frieren, Haikyuu and more) and manhwa like Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint. Not on the list? I'm happy to edit any fandom or original work.
Do I need to explain my fandom if you don't know it?
No. I'll edit grammar, flow and style for any fic. For fandoms I know, I can also flag out-of-character moments and canon inconsistencies. For others, a short note on context helps.
Do you edit mature or dark content?
Yes: angst, violence, dark themes, morally grey characters and mature romance. Explicit sexual content is only accepted when all characters are adults (18+), in line with Fiverr's terms.
Will you change my writing style?
No. My job is to make your voice clearer, not replace it. All edits come as tracked changes or comments, so you accept or reject each one.
What's the difference between proofreading and editing?
Proofreading fixes spelling, grammar, punctuation and typos. Editing goes further: sentence flow, word choice, pacing, dialogue and characterization feedback.
What file formats do you accept?
Google Docs (preferred), Word (.docx) or plain text. If you paste from AO3 or Wattpad, I'll keep your formatting intact.
Can you edit multi-chapter fics?
Yes! Message me with your total word count. I can work chapter by chapter or on the whole fic, and offer a custom price for long projects.
I'm not a native English speaker. Can you help?
Absolutely. I'm bilingual (English and Russian) and can make your fic sound natural while keeping your meaning and style.
Is my work kept private?
Yes. Your fic is never shared, reposted or used anywhere else.
