Editing and proofreading Christian books require substantial knowledge of the Bible and a firm Christian background.
Having 6 years of experience editing and proofreading many Christian-related books makes me conversant with the requisite qualities of a good Christian book.
A good Christian book should have:
· Correct spelling
· Free of grammatical and punctuation errors
· Enhanced readability
· Clarity
· Flow, and
· Consistency.
More importantly, it should be free of:
· Incorrect Bible verses
· Word usage
· Poor sentence structure
· Incorrect verb tenses, &
· Should comply with the rules of concord.
