I will localize your ios app into simplified chinese, strings and xcstrings
About this Gig
- I localize iOS .strings / .xcstrings / Localizable files into natural Simplified Chinese (zh-Hans) and script-check every %@, %d and %1$@ placeholder, plus your App Store page.
I am a native Mandarin speaker learning Swift and Xcode, so I know the file formats and why placeholders must not break.
Included:
- Translate Localizable.strings or String Catalog (.xcstrings) files
- Placeholders kept exactly (%@, %d, %lld, %1$@, \n), verified by script
- Keep keys unchanged, only translate values
- Use common Chinese iOS UI terms (e.g. Settings, Cancel, Done)
- App Store listing in Chinese (Standard/Premium): app name, subtitle, keywords, description, within Apple's length limits
- A note list of strings that may be too long for buttons
NOT included:
- Writing or changing your Swift code / project setup
- Uploading to App Store Connect
- Guaranteed App Store ranking or downloads
- Android, web, or Traditional Chinese
- Privacy policy or legal text
AI tools may help with a first draft; I review and edit every string myself.

FAQ
Will you break my placeholders?
No. I keep %@, %d, %lld, positional ones like %1$@, and \n exactly as they are, and I check them before delivery. Keys are never changed.
Can you add localization to my Xcode project?
Not in this Gig. I return the translated .strings / .xcstrings file; you import it in Xcode.
Do you guarantee more downloads in China?
No. I write a clear, natural Chinese listing with relevant keywords, but rankings depend on many things I cannot control.
Plurals in .xcstrings?
Chinese has no plural forms, so I fill the "other" form and keep your variables correct.
Do you use AI?
AI may help with a first draft. I review and edit every string myself and check UI context.
