I will make your manga or light novel dialogue sound natural, not translated
About this Gig
Literal translation isn't the same as good dialogue.
I specialize in editing and rewriting manga and light novel dialogue taking raw, stiff, word-for-word translations and rewriting them so every line sounds like something the character would actually say, in that moment, under that emotional pressure.
What I fix:
- Flat, unnatural phrasing that kills character voice
- Generic lines that could belong to anyone
- Emotional beats that land wrong because the translation is too literal
- Dialogue that reads fine grammatically but sounds nothing like a real person
What you get:
- Dialogue that preserves the original meaning and emotional tone
- Each character sounding distinct, not interchangeable
- Natural phrasing that fits the scene's tension, warmth, or humor
- Revisions included (see package details)

Send me your raw translation and any context on tone, genre, and characters, and I'll get started.

FAQ
Do I need to provide the raw translation, or will you source the manga yourself?
You'll need to provide the raw or literal translation. I'll handle the dialogue rewrite from there. The more context you give me (genre, tone, character relationships), the better the result.
Can you match a specific localization style — more Western-adapted or closer to the original?
Yes, just tell me your preference upfront and I'll calibrate accordingly. I can go grounded and natural or preserve more of the original cultural texture depending on what you need.
What if my chapter has more words than my package covers?
We can work it out — either through the additional words add-on, or message me before ordering and I'll give you a custom quote based on your actual word count.
Do you translate from Japanese/Korean/Chinese?
No — I work from an existing translated draft (fan TL, official TL, or rough draft) and rewrite it so the dialogue sounds natural and true to character. If you need the initial translation done, I'm not your guy for that part.
