FAQ
What book editing and proofreading ser
I offer book proofreading, copy editing, manuscript editing, and line-level editing for memoirs, nonfiction, novels, and other books. I can improve grammar, spelling, punctuation, clarity, consistency, flow, and readability while preserving your writing style.
Do you format books for Amazon KDP?
Yes. I provide Amazon KDP book formatting for Kindle eBooks, EPUB, paperback, and hardcover books. I can format chapter headings, page numbers, margins, spacing, paragraphs, tables of contents, and other interior elements.
Can you proofread and format my memoir?
Yes. I can proofread and edit memoir manuscripts for grammar, punctuation, clarity, consistency, and readability, then format the finished book for Amazon KDP paperback or Kindle publishing.
Can you format both the paperback and ebook versions of my book?
Yes. Most authors need both. I format your paperback interior for print and your ebook for Kindle and epub distribution. Ordering both together saves time and ensures consistent book layout and interior design across every edition.
I am a first-time author. Can you guide me through the KDP publishing process?
Yes. I work with first-time authors regularly. Beyond formatting your book, I can advise on KDP setup, file upload, book cover size requirements, and publishing settings so your book goes live on Amazon without confusion or costly mistakes.
Can you edit and format my book in the same order?
Yes. If you need both services, I can combine book editing, proofreading, copy editing, and KDP formatting into one project so your manuscript is polished before the final interior layout is prepared.
Will I receive a clean copy and tracked changes?
Yes. Depending on your selected package, I can provide a clean edited copy and a version with tracked changes so you can see the edits made to your manuscript.
What do you need from me to start my book editing or formatting project?
Please send your manuscript, preferred book size if applicable, publishing platform, and any specific requirements. If you are unsure which service or package you need, message me first and I can recommend the best option based on your manuscript.
