About this Gig
You've spent days writing your manuscript. The last thing you want is a typo, awkward sentence, or silly continuity error pulling your reader out of it.
So, let me fix it.
Being a professional proofreader and copy editor, I love helping writers refine their stories and communicate their ideas clearly and engagingly.
I'll proofread and copy edit your manuscript for grammar, spelling, punctuation, tense, awkward phrasing, and typos. I'll also fix stylistic inconsistencies in spelling, hyphenation, numerals, fonts, and capitalization.
And I'll beta-read the story, too.
I'll flag plot and character issues and inconsistencies. Say you wrote that your character never wears yellow on page 2. If they show up in yellow on page 200, I'll flag it.
I'll also beta-read your story from a reader's perspective, looking at character, style, pacing, plot, and overall readability.
Here's what you'll get:
- Professional proofreading and copy editing
- Tracked changes and feedback
- A polished, ready-to-publish manuscript
- A detailed beta reader's report
P.S. Proofreading and beta reading don't include fact-checking. If you'd like me to fact-check, you can add it as a gig extra.
