Hello! We're Tom and Jess, a string duo from the UK. We met and trained together at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama and now play violin, viola and cello professionally throughout the UK and provide strings for music worldwide on a daily basis.
As experienced string players, we can provide guidance and feedback on your strings compositions to ensure that they are clear, playable and allow for the best interpretations of your intentions.
Particular pitfalls for composing for strings can include bowing, chords/double-stops, harmonics and extended techniques.
Feedback will be provided as a .doc/.pdf with references to bars/measures as well as annotated screenshots and notated alternatives where necessary.
