About this gig
Need your Shopify theme to look or work differently? I provide Shopify theme customization and Liquid coding for existing stores, from a focused layout change to custom sections and agreed storefront features.
I can help with:

For custom sections, we agree on the text, images, buttons and other controls you want to update in the theme editor.
I use Liquid, HTML, CSS and JavaScript as needed. You receive a preview, checks of the agreed desktop/mobile behavior, and guidance for managing the finished feature.
Packages cover a defined change list in an existing theme. Custom apps and checkout changes need separate assessment. Paid tools and licenses are separate.
Send your store URL, theme name and a screenshot or reference for the feature you want. I will check compatibility and confirm the changes, editable controls and delivery scope.

Can you work with my current Shopify theme?
Send the theme name/version and the changes you want. I will check the theme and any relevant apps before confirming compatibility, scope and the right package.
Can I edit the finished section myself?
For an agreed custom section, we define the controls you need, such as text, images, buttons and layout options. I add the agreed settings to the theme editor and explain how to use them.
Do I need to supply a design?
Please send a reference, sketch or design file with your final text and images. If you need original design work before development, we will define that separately.
What happens to my live store?
We agree on the working theme first. Where appropriate, I prepare changes in a duplicate theme, share a preview and publish only after your approval.
Is this the right gig for an error or a complete store?
This service covers planned changes and new features in an existing theme. Use my bug-fix gig for broken behavior and my store-design gig for a complete new store or substantive redesign.
Are custom apps and checkout changes included?
They require a separate review. Some features depend on your Shopify plan, an external app or an API, so I confirm feasibility and costs before offering them.
What do revisions cover?
Adjustments to the agreed section or change list. A new feature, extra section or new design direction is additional scope. I correct defects in the work I deliver.
What access do you need?
I request Shopify collaborator access with permissions relevant to the task. You do not need to send your personal password, one-time codes or payment information.
