Do I need to buy hosting and a domain first?
Ideally yes, in your own name, so you own them from day one. If you haven't yet, tell me your budget and I'll recommend something and set it up.
Do you write the content?
No. You send the text, images and logo before I start. Missing content is the biggest cause of delay, so I send a short written list of exactly what I need.
What if I don't like the design?
Send all your changes together in one message and I'll work through the whole set. That's faster than a trickle of one-liners and keeps the scope clear for both of us.
Can I update the site myself afterwards?
Yes. You get a written guide covering the things you'll actually change — text, images, prices — plus every login.
Who owns the site when it's finished
You do. Hosting, domain, WordPress admin, all of it, in your name. You can take it to another developer without needing anything from me.
How fast will it actually be?
Fast enough to pass Google's Core Web Vitals on a phone, on hosting that isn't fighting me. If your hosting is the bottleneck I'll tell you before we start rather than after.
