FAQ
What is the difference between an alpha reader and a beta reader?
Alpha readers evaluate unpolished raw drafts or incomplete manuscripts early in the process, while beta readers read polished, near-final drafts.
Do you judge dark themes, heavy spice, or taboo elements?
No. I specialize in dark romance and fantasy, providing a safe, completely judgment-free evaluation of all mature themes.
What file formats do you accept for raw drafts?
I accept Microsoft Word (.docx) files and editable Google Docs links to leave trackable inline comments.
Will you fix my grammar and spelling during the alpha critique?
My main focus is story structure, worldbuilding, and pacing, but I will flag noticeable typos as I read.
Can you alpha read custom word counts over 80,000 words?
Yes! Message me with your exact word count and genre details, and I will send a custom offer tailored to your project.
