Two developers have fixed their Japanese after I showed them what was wrong. One of them had already paid a localization team.

You paid for Japanese. You cannot read it. So there is no way to know whether it is fine, or whether it is telling your players something else.

I look at the Japanese you already shipped and write down what is wrong with it.

WHAT I LOOK AT

Your Steam or store page in Japanese, against your English one.

The build, if you can send one or a key.

Screenshots, if that is all there is.

WHAT YOU GET

A numbered list. For each item: where it is, what it says now, what it should say, and how much it matters.

I quote the Japanese and translate it back, so you can check me instead of trusting me.

Where there is a pattern behind it, I say so. Encoding read as the wrong character set, a term that drifted between files, text that outgrew the button.
