I will beta read and edit
About this Gig
I want to read your weird books and give you feedback on how to make them suck less. If you're looking for clear, actionable feedback, I'm the person you need.
My qualifications:
- I read 150-200 books per year, spanning every genre. While I read very quickly and voraciously consume any and every genre, my favorites are sci-fi and magical realism.
- I worked as a professional writer for three years, leading a team of eleven writers in writing and editing SEO content. I have a lot of strange knowledge, ranging from things like rat birth control to AI algorithm monitoring to diesel fuel filters and beyond. I love learning things and enjoy non-fiction.
- I am part of the LGBTQIA+ community and would be thrilled to beta read for queer authors.
- I am staunchly anti-AI.
- I have extensive project management skills and am dedicated to providing timely feedback.
