I'm a high school English teacher, and I get excited about helping people improve their writing! When I was ten I started publishing a magazine, and I haven't stopped writing since. I have experience writing short stories, essays, technical reports, manuals, business letters, brochures and flyers, and web content. I'm even working on a blog ;)
This gig is priced competitively based on the level of detail you need:
Basic proofread: Spelling and major grammar points, punctuation, and capitalization
Standard line edit: Detailed grammar check (verb tenses, parallel structure, run-on sentences, repeated words), formatting (font, spacing, indents), internal consistency
Detailed structural edit: Rearrange and rewrite sentences/paragraphs to be natural and engaging. Polish pacing and delivery, character/argument development; condense and reword confusing sentences.

FAQ
What file formats do you accept?
I accept Microsoft Word, Adobe InDesign, Pages, and plain text or RTF. I can also convert from many other formats--if you want me to try one, just email me and I'll tell you if I can do it.
Can you provide faster delivery?
Due to my current work schedule, I won't be able to guarantee anything faster than 24 hours. However, as soon as I receive your work I'll get started on it, and keep you updated on my progress.
If I pay for a basic proofread or copy edit, am I able to upgrade?
Absolutely. If you decide later that you'd like a higher level of review, I'll be happy to create a custom offer to add this on.
Does this include fact-checking?
I probably won't be able to perform fact-checking as part of my copyediting service, unless I'm familiar with the subject. Feel free to message me if you'd like more information.
