A resume with typos or an essay that sounds like everyone else's gets skimmed, not remembered. I make sure that doesn't happen to yours.

I recently went through the college application process myself, including personal essays, supplements, and the whole exhausting edit-and-rewrite cycle, so I know exactly what makes an essay land and what makes an admissions reader's eyes glaze over. I don't rewrite your voice. I sharpen it.

My process:

Send me your draft. I'll send back a clean, edited version along with a short note explaining the key changes, so you understand why something reads better, not just what changed.

What I offer:

• Honest notes on what's already working and what isn't

What I won't do:

I won't write the essay for you or invent details you didn't share. That's not editing, it's ghostwriting, and it does you no favors. Admissions readers can often tell, and more importantly, it stops being your story. What I will do is make sure the story that's already yours comes through as clearly and compellingly as possible.
