1. How do I know if my WordPress site has been hacked?
Common signs include redirects, spam pages, browser warnings, unknown admin users, modified files, unusual activity or security alerts. If you’re unsure, send me your URL and describe what you’re seeing.
2. Can you remove WordPress malware completely?
I will identify and remove the malicious files and code I can detect, check the installation and apply the security work included in your package. No legitimate security professional can guarantee that a site will never be compromised again.
3. What access do you need?
I normally need WordPress administrator and hosting or server access. Depending on the infection, FTP/SFTP or hosting file manager access may also be required.
4. Will you make a backup before making changes?
Yes, whenever the current hosting environment and condition of the site allow it. Existing infected data may also need to be preserved temporarily during recovery.
5. Can you remove Google or browser blacklist warnings?
Blacklist recovery is included in the Premium package. I can clean the underlying infection and assist with the review process, but final removal is controlled by Google or the relevant third party.
6. Will my content and design remain unchanged?
The goal is to preserve your legitimate content and design while removing malicious code. If malware has damaged legitimate files, I will let you know if additional restoration work is required.
7. Can you help prevent the site from being hacked again?
Yes. Standard and Premium include security hardening and vulnerability checks. I also offer ongoing WordPress maintenance, backups, security and monitoring after recovery.
8. Should I contact you before ordering?
