I design and 3D print custom accessories for camera rigs and video setups - mounts, adapters, brackets, cable guides, cold shoe extensions, counterweights, NATO rail parts. Anything that connects one piece of your kit to another when no off-the-shelf part exists.
WHAT I NEED
Photos of both parts you want to connect, with a ruler or coin for scale. Tell me which standard interfaces are involved - 1/4-20, 3/8-16, cold shoe, NATO, Arri pins and how it needs to sit.

FAQ
Q: Will a printed part really hold my gear?
A: For accessories, yes - PA12 and carbon-filled materials are stiff and tough. I do not make plates or mounts that carry a camera on their own, and I will say so if that is what you need.
Q: How do you get the threads right?
A: 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 are imperial threads, not metric, and printed threads in that size wear quickly. I design for brass threaded inserts or for a captured nut, depending on the part - both hold far better than printed threads.
Q: I do not have measuring tools. Can you still design it?
A: Often yes. Tell me the exact model names of your gear and include a coin or ruler in the photos - most camera hardware has published dimensions I can work from. If something critical is unclear, I will ask before I start.
Q: Which material should I pick?
A: PETG for most accessories, tough and easy to reprint. PA12 where the part flexes or takes repeated stress. Carbon-filled for stiffness. If the part sits under studio lights or in a hot car, I will steer you away from PLA.
Q: Can I reprint the part myself later?
A: Yes. You get the STL and the STEP file with full rights. Print it again, scale it, modify it, or send it to a print service - it is yours.
