My proofreading services have helped clients in 31 countries to publish their books and improve hundreds of texts for their businesses. Spanish is my native language.
Working with me you will be able to:
- Stop dealing with new grammar rules, spelling, syntax, sentence structure and verb tenses.
- Concentrate all your energy on the creative process, which is the most valuable thing, and leave the technical work in the hands of a professional.
- Get an honest opinion about your work and whether there is something important to fix.
When we're done you'll receive two Word files. The first has track changes on, so you can see every edit and decide whether to accept or reject it. The second is the clean version, without the tracking marks. I proofread every manuscript personally. I don't outsource the work and I don't hand in text processed by a machine.
My approach is minimal intervention: I fix what's wrong and improve the flow, but your voice as an author stays intact.

FAQ
What type of Spanish do you use in your proofreading?
I adapt to the Spanish you need, whether it is peninsular or neutral. Most of the time, I work with neutral or international Spanish. It is a variant that does not include regionalisms or idioms specific to a single country.
How will you deliver the final work to me?
I will deliver two Word files to you. One has the word CORRECTIONS at the beginning of the title and has track changes activated so you can visibly see every modification made. The other file says OPTIMIZED and is the clean version with all accepted changes, without the tracking marks.
My book was translated into Spanish with AI or by a third party, can you correct it?
Yes, of course. I have experience polishing books that come from literal translations or Artificial Intelligence tools. I take care of resolving syntax problems, correcting the gender or number of words so it flows naturally in Spanish without losing its original meaning.
I am worried my book will lose its essence. Will you change my way of writing?
Not at all. My goal is to bring your work to its best version without altering your identity. I make interventions to correct non-negotiable errors and improve fluency, but my priority is to preserve your narrative voice.
Do you also work with the formatting and layout of the book for Amazon KDP?
Yes, I have a separate service just for that. I work with basic, clean, and elegant layouts for continuous reading books like novels, essays, popular science, or biographies. I do not do complex designs or work with highly illustrated books, since my focus is on professional typographic structure.
